Surprising American Life

I've seen so many interesting things and had wonderful experiences during my first study abroad here. First of all, I was surprised that most Americans eat tiny raw carrot. Not only carrot but many others also are eaten raw. Moreover, they ate raw carrot as a snack. I was very surprised and that was interesting. Second, a church I went to was very nice. I thought a church is a quiet and small place, but it totally wasn't. Actually, the church was like a concert stage, and some famous singers were singing songs on the stage. The second time to go there, I saw that my host family's friend was baptized for the first time in my life. That was amazing and wonderful and I was touched. I'll never forget this experience. Finally, Americans are very friendly, talkative and powerful. Even young people or small children I met were clever. They had their own opinions and told me about that, so it was easy to tell them what I think. Meeting high school students and elementary school students was also exciting. As I told you, I've had so many amazing and curious experiences and now  I am a happy.

Hilarious Friends

My housemates are awesome to live with and there are a lot of reasons for that. First of all, we are always full of devilment, even midnight, we are powerful. When we watched the movie "Twilight" series, we were crying or laughing. Wherever  we go, we are happy. Moreover, when we have a party, especially we are full of pep and talkative. Second, they are thoughtful of friends. If one of my housemates feels or doesn't look so good, others talk to and cheer her up. If someone who does not want to talk, we just stay with her. We always want our housemates to be happy and comfortable. It is  rarely that such a thing happens. Third, they are so sweet. If someone makes a mistake, nobody harshly blames her. On the contrary, they say to her that "It's ok" or "No problem". Everyone always says that to me, so I am always able to stay calm. Finally, we like to sing songs anytime. We always sing a song not only one genre but also various kinds of genre from Japanese children's songs to folk songs. We are singing even during lunch or dinner. We always begin to sing the songs that we learned after school. For these reasons, my housemates are amazing.

Active City

The city of Suita, Osaka, is a comfortable place to live and there are many reasons for that. First of all, education is really good. Suita is really nice place to raise children because there are KUMON to study at and Children Center to play at. KUMON is very helpful for children to learn  Math, Japanese and English, and the teacher who had taught me there is so nice. At Children Center you can have fun doing a big trampoline and that is very exciting. Second, we can enjoy shopping because there are a lot of stores such as Expo mall. It is the one of my favorite shopping malls, and Expo has many kind of shops, so you don't have to go elsewhere to buy what we want. Third, services to live are well developed and there are a lot of places to live comfortably such as dentists, hospitals, postoffice, supermarkets, convenience stores and parks, and they are all close to my house. If you want something to eat, walk about only 5 minutes, and you can buy something at a convenience store or supermarket because there are more than five are located near my house and that's very convenient. Fourth, it is safe to live in Suita because many mother or father walk around the school road and keep watching the children that they can go to school and back home safely, as volunteer patrol everyday. Finally, Suita has so many fun activities like sports club, athletics, gym or ferris wheel.   Athletics are so fun and we can refresh ourself, so you should visit there, and actually I want to go to all these places. Because of these many reasons, Suita is very comfortable and enjoyable to live in!
